Region: Southampton + surrounding area
On-Target Earnings
Up to £58,000 (inclusive of overtime, call-outs, travel pay and bonuses)

About the Role
Join Trinity Fire & Security, a division of PTSG Group, and deliver high-quality servicing, maintenance, and technical support across a diverse portfolio of commercial fire and security systems.
You’ll work across a range of systems ensuring compliance, reliability, and exceptional customer service. Supported by dedicated Service Coordinators and Technical Specialists, your focus will be on delivering outstanding engineering standards across commercial accounts, market surveys, and service coordination within the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service visits on:
- Fire systems (Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec, and other open-protocol systems)
- CCTV (Hikvision, Dahua, Avigilon)
- Intruder alarms (Galaxy, Texecom)
- Access control (Paxton, Honeywell, Gallagher)
- Diagnose faults and deliver effective, compliant solutions
- Complete minor remedial works and small-scale installations
- Provide professional technical advice and updates to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and customer documentation
- Ensure all work aligns with relevant safety standards and company procedures

About You
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer with:
- Proven experience servicing fire alarm and/or electronic security systems
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good knowledge of British Standards (extensive fire alarm first aid training desirable)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong technical understanding with a focus on electrical safety (ECA or Level 3 Apprentiful qualification/equivalent desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (valid for work-related travel)
