Role Overview
This is not just a design management role—it offers opportunities to:

You will take overall responsibility for the design function, leading fire and security system designs from concept to completion while ensuring:

Ensure designs and costings are issued promptly to aid smooth project installations and lead a design team focused on improvements, aligning with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of fire and security systems using 2D and 3D CAD modelling software
- Support the preparation of:
- Design costings
- Technical submissions
- Tender documentation
- Assist with relevant project management where needed
- Provide technical knowledge and support
- Produce detailed component/CAD drawings
- Review tender packages and ensure compliance with specifications and selected materials
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience in designing fire and security systems
- Good commercial awareness and experience in competitive tenders
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full UK driving licence
