About the Role
We’re looking for a Fire and Security Engineer to join Honeywell in Scotland. Based in the region (with a focus on Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee), you’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-quality fire and security services across client sites. This is a field-based role, requiring travel to monitor, maintain, and support systems on diverse customer premises—including a key focus on large-scale sites in Glasgow.

Our portfolio spans software, hardware, and services, delivering outcome-driven solutions tailored to building owners and operators. Your work will contribute to making buildings safer, more operationally efficient, and energy-conscious.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily servicing, calibrations, and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party systems, including diagnosing and repairing faults on fire and security hardware (e.g., Access Control, Intruder Systems, IP CCTV).
- Identify system improvements and provide pricing for Small Works Quotes, including preparing relevant documentation and project drawings.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through direct engagement with clients, representatives, and service users, providing a professional and reliable service.
- Proactively report potential system failures, disturbances, or areas for enhancement.

Requirements
You must have:
- Prior experience in fire and security, with knowledge of systems from multiple manufacturers (e.g., Honeywell, third-party tools).
- Demonstrated fault-finding, troubleshooting, and programming skills.
- A strong grasp of software integration and system design, ideally including experience with Honeywell’s Building Integrator Front End (EBI).
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
- A full UK driving licence (essential for fieldwork and travel).
