Fire and Security Engineer
Fire and Security Engineer – Scotland
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire and Security Engineer to join Honeywell in Scotland, where you’ll ensure optimal operations at client sites across the Scotland region. This field-based role focuses on security and fire systems for customer sites across Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee, with a particular concentration on a large customer site in Glasgow.
About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and servicing – Perform daily servicing, calibrations, and maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing faults on Honeywell and third-party equipment.
- System improvements – Identify opportunities to optimise system performance and provide pricing for small works quotes.
- Technical documentation – Prepare drawings and application projects for small works quotes.
- Customer engagement – Directly liaise with clients, representatives, and service recipients to ensure customer satisfaction through professional and high-value service delivery.
- Forecasting and insights – Proactively report potential future failures, disturbances, and improvements in system performance.

Requirements
- Industry experience – Proven fire and security industry background, with knowledge of:
- Fire systems (various manufacturers)
- Access Control & Intruder Systems
- IP CCTV
- Technical skills – Strong fault-finding, troubleshooting, and programming capabilities.
- System integration expertise – Deep understanding of software strategies and ideal knowledge of Honeywell Building Integrator Front End (Honeywell EBI).
- Customer service excellence – Exceptional communication skills to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Mobility requirements – Hold a full UK driving licence.
