The Role: Fire and Security Engineer
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the London Area (United Kingdom).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of:
- Fire alarm systems
- CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television)
- Access control systems
- Intruder alarm systems
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct system testing and inspections to ensure compliance and functionality
- Diagnose and resolve faults in security infrastructures
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to uphold system integrity
- Document all work carried out to maintain comprehensive service records

The role also includes:
- Assessing client security requirements through effective liaison
- Providing technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams
- Ensuring compliance with relevant UK fire and security regulations, standards, and industry best practices
- Collaborating with the technical team to deliver projects on time while supporting continuous service improvements
Qualifications & Experience
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
Essential Skills & Experience
✅ Strong foundation in Security Engineering, including hands-on experience with:
- Designing, installing, and maintaining fire and electronic security systems ✅ Understanding of Application Security and Information Security, particularly in relation to:
- Security system software, configuration, and data protection ✅ Knowledge of Network Security and Cybersecurity, including:
- Secure configuration for IP-based CCTV, access control, and alarm systems ✅ Relevant technical certifications or vocational qualifications in:
- Fire and security systems
- Electrical engineering, or a related discipline
