Fire Door Installers / Carpenters – Temp- Perm Role (North London)
About the Role
Westwood Construction are seeking experienced Fire Door Installers / Carpenters for a temp-perm position (initially 3 months as a contracted role). This opportunity involves fire door installations and remedial works, including removal of existing doors and frames and the installation of new full door sets.
- Pay: From £220 per day (CIS, negotiable based on experience).
- Teams: Open to teambased applications (one carpenter, one labourer priced at £125/day for the labourer component).

Key Responsibilities
- Insert and mend open doors to repair/post-mitigation behavior.
- Fit intra-concrete, hollow-core, or operationally timber doorsets.
- Install fire-rated door sets where necessary.
- Deal with customer references as needed.
- Follow occupational safety and security instructions in firefighting training recommendations.
Requirements
Essential
- Must have own van (fuel card provided + parking reimbursed via receipts).
- Requires own tools.
- Valid Blue CSCS card.
- Minimum 1 year experience in working to Fire Door Regulations.
