At Hollis, we are committed to solving challenging problems for our existing clients while expanding into new markets. With a robust pipeline of existing building safety and fire work and the potential to influence every stage of the property lifecycle - from buying and leasing to designing, building, operating, maintaining, upgrading, retrofitting, and selling - this role offers unparalleled growth and professional development opportunities.

- Collaborate freely on projects and clients alongside other Hollis services, working particularly closely with our Building Surveying, M&E Engineering, Solar PV, Project Management, H&S/CDM, and Building Forensics services
- Travel to site visits across the region, attend client or team meetings as necessary, and CPD opportunities that arise
- Get involved in business development activities to maintain relationships with existing clients, learn to engage with existing and new clients to grow our client base, and work your way up to developing your own consistent pipeline of work

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
