Job Overview
Fire Engineer job in East Central London, joining a multidisciplinary building consultancy delivering Fire Engineering & Fire Safety services across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed-use projects. This role suits an experienced Fire Engineer seeking greater technical responsibility, supporting projects from design through to completion, including Building Safety Regulator Gateway submissions and Building Safety Act compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare and sign off fire strategies and reports
- Ensure compliance with UK fire safety legislation
- Provide technical leadership and quality assurance
- Build and manage client relationships
- Support fee proposals and business development
- Mentor junior team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams

Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Fire Engineering or related discipline
- IFE membership or working towards registration
- At least 3 years' UK fire engineering consultancy experience
- Strong Building Regulations and Building Safety Act knowledge
- Experience with complex buildings and external wall remediation
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Strong project management and organisational ability
