Fire Project Manager | Stoke / Stafford | Up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)

We're looking for a motivated Project Manager with a strong background in fire systems who takes pride in delivering high-quality projects and building lasting client relationships. If you have experience in fire systems, that's a bonus, but it's certainly not a requirement. We're more interested in finding someone with excellent project management skills, a solid understanding of fire systems, and the drive to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, coordination and delivery of fire systems projects, including new installations, upgrades, refurbishments and remedial works.
  • Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys, technical reviews and risk assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, British Standards and client specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, progress reports and client communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the procurement of equipment and materials, ensuring products meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and undertake regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety and compliance standards are achieved.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all fire systems are installed and commissioned in accordance with current British Standards and industry best practice.
  • Support project commissioning, testing, handover documentation and client training where required.
  • Where applicable, oversee the integration of security systems as part of wider life safety projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
