HASAW begins with free conversations or site surveys to understand each client’s specific requirements. Core services include fire protection solutions, Fire Risk Assessments, and Fire Training, supporting a wide range of workplaces and industries.
Role Description
The Fire Risk Assessor is a full-time, on-site role based across the South-East of UK. The specialist will carry out fire risk assessments, site inspections, and surveys to identify hazards and recommend appropriate fire protection measures. Daily responsibilities include:

- Designing or reviewing fire protection systems
- Advising clients on fire prevention strategies
- Ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety legislation and standards
- Delivering fire safety training
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to implement and monitor fire safety improvements
Qualifications
- Skills in Fire Prevention and Fire Safety, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Practical skills in the selection, use, and inspection of Fire Extinguishers and other frontline fire protection equipment.
- Relevant professional certifications or training in fire safety, fire risk assessment, or health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH Fire, IFSM/IFE membership) are beneficial.
- Experience conducting site-based assessments, preparing clear technical reports, and delivering fire safety training is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple client engagements.
- Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
