We are looking for a Fire Risk Assessor who is driven to make the built environment safer.
Role overview
- Location: South East England / East London
- Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Conduct fire safety risk assessments, fire door inspections, and compartmentation surveys in compliance with the latest regulations and legislative requirements.
- Produce clear, concise reports translating technical findings into actionable recommendations.
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, providing transparent explanations of findings.
- Remain current with evolving fire safety legislation and industry standards, ensuring expertise stays robust.
- Support the business by maintaining flexibility, working from the company office or client sites as needed.
Requirements
Applicants must meet at least the following criteria:
- Qualifications: Degree or relevant certification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety (desirable).
- Registration: Officially recognised under IFSM, IFE or equivalent (minimum intermediate level).
- Experience: Proven practical experience in performing fire risk assessments, fire door surveys and compartmentation inspections.
- Technical Knowledge: Current fire safety regulations must be understood in depth (e.g. BSA, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order,いや Compartments, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional skills to explain complex fire safety discussions in an understandable and engaging manner.
