Location: London based with a balance of home and office working

Salary & Benefits: £49,179 - £53,325 per year plus company car or car allowance of £7,703 35 hours per week

About the Role

We are seeking a Fire Risk Assessor to perform fire risk assessments, audits, and surveys across our property portfolio.

Responsibilities The role is based within Compliance, which oversees the Group’s regulatory obligations, including:

  • Conducting fire risk assessments, inspections, audits, and contractor evaluations to maintain compliance with safety standards.
  • Managing works relating to fire risk assessments, inspections, and surveys within financial limits.
  • Generating reports to resolve compliance issues and support legislative adherence.
  • Promoting fire safety awareness to ensure safe environments for staff and customers.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to assess and rectify service shortfalls.

Requirements

  • Qualification: Original certification for Fire Risk Assessor Level 4 (FPA) required (proof verified during interviews).
  • Experience: Prior experience in similar roles, with knowledge of:
    • Fire safety regulations (including Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).
    • Deadline management and workload prioritisation.
  • Driving: Must hold a valid UK driving licence for company vehicle tasks.

Salary Details (Clarified from Notes)

  • For non-FPA qualification: £36,725 + £12,453 allowance (until probation exceeds £38,658 + £13,109 after 12 months).
  • For FPA Level 4 qualified: £36,725 + £13,933 allowance (until probation exceeds £38,658 + £14,667 after 12 months).
