ATK Solutions is currently partnering with a growing specialist consultancy seeking a highly experienced Associate Fire Risk Consultant to join their expanding technical team.
Our client supports a diverse client base, including developers, architects, housing providers and asset managers, delivering robust, compliant and commercially practical fire-safety solutions across the full building lifecycle.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire consultant looking to operate at a technical, collaborative consultancy, with scope to influence complex projects and support the development of specialist services.
You’ll be joining a team of fire risk, façade and fire-engineering consultants delivering work across complex residential and mixed-use portfolios.

The role will involve, but not be limited to:
- Conducting complex, risk-based Fire Risk Assessments in line with current legislation
- Leading Construction Stage Fire Risk Assessments
- Completing Pre-Occupation Fire Risk Assessments
- Supporting and contributing to Building Safety Case development
- Overseeing compartmentation surveys and fire door inspections
- Providing high-level fire risk management and compliance advice to clients
- Liaising directly with developers, housing providers, managing agents and project stakeholders
Structured development into:
- External wall surveying
- PAS 9980 Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEW)
- Retrospective Fire Strategies
- Remediation strategy and façade fire-safety consultancy
- Broader fire-engineering and performance-based design projects
