Salary: £58,000

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

About the Role

Lead fire safety across one of the UK's leading independent hospitals.

We're looking for an experienced Fire Safety Business Partner to join our Health and Safety team.

In this role, you'll be our lead fire safety expert, helping us create and maintain a safe environment across our hospital and specialist sites. You'll work closely with colleagues across Estates, Capital Projects and operational teams, providing expert advice, influencing decisions and ensuring fire safety is considered in everything we do.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships and making a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

A Little About the Team

You'll be joining a collaborative Health and Safety team that works in partnership with colleagues across The London Clinic to create a safe environment for everyone who works, visits or receives care here.

We work proactively to reduce risk, promote best practice and support colleagues with practical, expert advice. You'll become a trusted partner to teams across the organisation, helping them understand fire safety requirements while finding practical solutions that work.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Fire Safety Business Partner, you'll:

  • Lead on fire risk assessment actions, ensuring identified risks are addressed effectively.
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety legislation and standards, including the Building Safety Act 2024.
  • Support colleagues to implement practical and compliant fire safety solutions across our estate.
  • Review and develop fire safety policies and procedures.
  • Design and deliver engaging fire safety training programmes.
  • Carry out fire safety inspections and audits, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain fire prevention and emergency evacuation plans across all sites.
  • Investigate fire related incidents and alarm activations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Work closely with Estates and Capital Projects teams to ensure fire safety is embedded within refurbishment and development projects.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors and external authorities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
