About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager to lead the delivery of fire safety compliance across a diverse residential property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance, protecting residents, and driving continuous improvement within a customer-focused organisation.

Reporting to the Head of Fire & Building Safety, you will lead a small specialist team and work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external partners to deliver a proactive and effective fire safety service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of fire safety compliance across a residential property portfolio.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve fire safety strategies, policies, procedures, and management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety legislation, building regulations, and industry guidance.
  • Manage and oversee fire risk assessment programmes, ensuring identified actions are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Monitor the performance of contractors responsible for fire safety works, inspections, servicing, and remedial actions.
  • Oversee the maintenance and testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire doors, suppression systems, and other life safety equipment.
  • Develop and coordinate emergency evacuation arrangements and promote fire safety awareness across the organisation.
  • Investigate fire-related incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimise future risk.
  • Use performance data and compliance reporting to monitor delivery, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
  • Manage budgets, procurement activities, and contract performance to ensure value for money.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams and senior stakeholders to embed fire safety into day-to-day property management activities.
  • Prepare reports and provide professional advice to senior leadership on compliance, performance, and risk.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
