Fire Sales Account Manager

We are looking for a proactive, commercially minded Fire Sales Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of clients across our fire‑protection products and services. This role combines relationship management, technical understanding of fire safety solutions, and strategic sales development. You will be responsible for nurturing long‑term partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring clients receive compliant, high‑quality fire‑safety support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing accounts within the fire and life safety sector Conduct client needs assessments to ensure solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements Lead the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to close, including follow‑ups and after‑sales support Build strong, trust‑based relationships with decision‑makers, facilities teams, and compliance stakeholders Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximise account value Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of services, including engineering and operations. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reports Stay informed on fire‑safety legislation, standards (e.g., BS 5306, BS 5839), and emerging technologies

Requirements

Proven experience in account management or B2B sales within a fire safety environment Strong understanding of fire‑safety products, compliance requirements, and industry best practice Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills Ability to translate technical information into clear, customer‑friendly guidance Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines Confident working independently and meeting revenue targets Competent with CRM systems and general IT tools
