In this role, you’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of issues, resolve them effectively, and prevent future challenges. As a Fire & Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting our customers’ systems across technologies such as: Access Control, Intrusion Protection, Video Surveillance, Door Entry, Audio Alarm Verification, Staff Protection, Public Address, Time & Attendance, and LED Lighting. ✨Organised, people-focused, and ready to grow? Job Description Deliver excellent customer service, working closely with the Area Supervisor and National Call Centre. Use PDA management software to manage service calls and maintenance visits. Attend and resolve daily service calls plus scheduled maintenance work. Take responsibility for your vehicle and stock, ensuring they’re properly maintained. Bring a proactive, positive, “can-do” approach to every job. Join the callout rota, with opportunities for additional earning potential. Work flexibly when needed to meet client demand. Be based within ~30 minutes of your working area for responsive service. Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role. Qualifications Eligibility & Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC). Technical Knowledge: Intruder systems such as Texecom, Galaxy, Pacom & GE ranges. Access Control (PC-based & standalone): Lenel, CEM, C-Cure, PAC & Paxton. CCTV systems across analogue and IP platforms. Advantageous: experience with Milestone, Dahua, Genetec, and CEM. Strong IP networking skills and understanding of basic electrical principles. Experience & Skills: At least 3 years’ experience in the security systems industry. Proven field service/technical experience. Clean full UK driving licence Solid understanding of industry standards. The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent customer service track record. Ability to spot and refer potential sales opportunities (commission available). Good communication, time management, and planning skills.
