Key Purpose of the Job
Area Engineering Supervisor to assist the Regional Manager in delivering performance, motivation, and excellent customer service to Kings customers. Providing a field-based link between the Service department (office) and security Engineers, including Fire.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support the REM and Installation Manager (IM – where requested) in all aspects of the business.
- Assist schedulers with Engineer skill matrix to maximize SLA & KPI performance.
- Assist the teams in case of sickness, leave, or resource problems.
- Attend operational meetings with or in place of REM.
- Assist with field-based Engineers Performance Appraisals.
- Monitor poor performance and develop improvement plans locally, assist with improvement of Engineer performance by application of company procedures where necessary.
- Support Engineers technically and assist with problematic sites to resolve any issues.
- Assist the REM and/or IM with project planning/implementation.
- Rota management of call out to provide each region with full cover.
- Carry out Security Engineer & Technical audits, meter calibration & ladder inspections in line with the company planner to ensure 100% compliance.
- Carry out Subcontractor audits, ensuring performance is in line with standards and KST requirements in terms of quality and 100% compliance. Provide detailed reports and feedback on Sub-Contractor installations.
- Carry out fleet audits and stock take of team vehicles in line with company procedures.
- Field-based management for any complaints and attend site/customer meetings where required.
- Assist with timesheet submission before the agreed deadline for approval.
- Assisting the REM with Engineer timekeeping and monitored via company tools/applications.
- Support the REM & IM in all aspects of service and installation delivery.
- Assist to recruit, motivate, manage and retain a highly skilled Fire and Security Engineering resource within their area.

Desirable Requirements For The Job
- Network/IP based product experience.
- Candidate to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience across multiple disciplines including Intruder, CCTV, Access Control & Fire.
- Understanding of all current industry standards across all disciplines.
