What will you be doing

  • Attend to Planned Preventative Maintenance calls as directed by team coordinators
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks according to established PPM programs.
  • Documenting maintenance activities, identifying potential problems, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Rectify all faults on the first visit where rectification is within your control.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collection/recording of site configuration information, ensuring that the Asset Register is correct
  • Maintain car stock (spares) levels

What we are looking for

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience installing or servicing (including Preventative Maintenance activities) a wide product base of access control systems, CCTV systems and intruder alarm systems.
  • Experience of installing or servicing fire alarm systems servicing (including Preventative Maintenance activities), ideally GENT based.
  • Knowledge of basic electrical principals such as measuring voltage and current drain
  • Good attention to detail in order to ensure that all paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within the allotted timescales.
  • An enthusiastic team player who is able to work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach at all times.
  • Comfortable working irregular hours

There is also some must haves

  • Must be able to pass BS7858 screening.
  • Clean full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
  • Enhanced DBS.
  • Some government sites will require further screening.
