Fire Stopping Surveyor

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Fire Stopping Surveyor to join our team, carrying out surveys across a diverse range of buildings throughout London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of property types, projects, and clients while playing a direct role in improving fire safety standards and supporting compliance.

What You'll Be Doing
Conducting fire door inspections, compartmentation surveys, and other fire safety assessments across a varied portfolio of residential and commercial properties Working directly with residents, contractors, and clients on site, building strong professional relationships Identifying breaches in fire compartmentation, including fire door defects, and assessing existing fire safety measures Producing clear, detailed reports with practical recommendations to help clients improve compliance and building safety Maintaining your professional knowledge through ongoing CPD and fire safety training
Requirements
Relevant experience in fire safety, building surveying, or a related field Experience carrying out fire door and compartmentation surveys, or experience in a similar role Good written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working independently and remotely Field-based role covering Central and Greater London, with occasional travel to clients further afield Willing to stay away overnight for jobs that are more than 1.5 hours travel from home Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points Enhanced DBS check required (arranged by Karntek) FDIS Diploma or a recognised fire stopping qualification would be advantageous
