Your mission
Allsaved is a growing fire protection company delivering trusted, practical, fire safety solutions across a wider range of sectors, from utilities to commercial and residential.
We are expanding our Fire Engineering department as we continue to take on large-scale fire strategy projects, and we are looking for an experienced Fire Engineer to help lead this exciting next phase.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee fire strategy projects through all stages – from concept design through to detailed design, construction and handover
- Develop and review fire safety strategies, risk assessments, and compliance reviews for a variety of building types (commercial, residential, and utilities). Experience of BAFE SP205 auditing
- Provide expert guidance on UK fire safety legislation, Approved Document B, BS 9999, and other relevant standards.
- Act as technical lead to embed fire safety solutions across all design stages.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level fire engineers, reviewing technical output and helping to develop their technical and professional skills.
- Contribute to business development, support tender submissions, attend client meetings if and when needed, and help grow client relationships.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes, best practices, and innovations within the fire engineering industry.

Experience And Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire engineering, ideally with exposure to a variety of sectors (commercial, residential, utilities, or infrastructure).
- Relevant degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (MIFireE or similar).
- Strong understanding of fire engineering design principles, fire strategy development, and fire modelling.
- Experience in AutoCAD and other relevant design/modelling tools such as BlueBeam.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in mentoring or managing others.

Your profile
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline (e.g. Safety and Fire Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in fire engineering.
