Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering bespoke solutions for clients throughout the UK and internationally.
Job Description
Due to considerable growth, we have a rewarding career opportunity available for an experienced Suppression Engineer. This full-time role is predominantly field based, with our office located in Rossendale. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various fire suppression systems and a dedicated focus on service and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend customer sites as agreed, working through company procedures for testing fire suppression systems to ensure they are in good working order and in line with British Standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Service, maintain, and commission systems including FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Low and High Pressure Watermist, Aerosol (FirePro), Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul), and PAFSS.
- Fault finding using sound electrical principles.
- Log and check system activations, detailing findings onto our Simpro system.
- Produce and issue service certificates to clients, advising senior management of any rectifications or issues.
- Carry out service/installation work in a timely manner.
- Attend callouts at short notice, with some overtime required.
- Produce detailed technical reports on fault diagnosis, inspection, and repair of fire systems.
- Offer the highest standards of customer service by being attentive to individual customer requirements and ensuring proactive, efficient, and effective responses.
- Promote the company at all times when communicating with customers.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, working with systems such as FM200, Novec 1230, CO2, Inert Gas, Low and High Pressure Watermist, Aerosol (FirePro), Kitchen Suppression Systems (Kitchenguard, Amerex, Ansul), and PAFSS.
- Mechanical/Electrical background.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- High attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.
- Structured and practical approach to work.
- Ability to stay calm and collected in approach to work.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday.
- Overtime.
