Shift Patterns: 5 on 3 off - mixture of shifts AM/PM

Location: Heathrow - TW6 2GA

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

We're now looking for a First Line Manager to play an integral role at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every flight is a success.

A Typical Day May Involve

  • Manage the day-to-day allocation and deployment of cleaning teams utilising the PDA system linked to INFORM
  • Set clear priorities for the Cabin Quality Supervisor
  • Take responsibility for operational performance during the shift, i.e. training plans and quality
  • Ensure shift briefs are delivered for all cleaning teams and operational priorities are communicated effectively
  • Responsible for managing colleagues including all people processes (RTWs, absence, disciplinary issues, performance management).
  • Oversee the deployment of the cleaning teams to meet the flight schedule and ensure that Cat 1 waste processes are carried out and aircraft are supplied with the correct stock. Ensure shortages and surplus items are dealt with
  • Manage stakeholder relationships during the shift. Deal with any queries and complaints and escalate to the Airside Shift Manager where appropriate

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Hold a valid UK driving license (essential)
  • Preferred experience within Aviation
  • Management experience
  • IT literate
  • Strong people management skills

To obtain a full airside ID, you must:

  • Be able to provide five years' UK address history
  • Be able to provide five years' reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
