Pay Rate: £31,086

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 (Friday 13:30 finish.)

Location: Burnley, BB10 2TQ

We're looking for a First Line Manager to lead from the front, supporting their teams to deliver a safe, efficient, and high-performing operation. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining people management, operational accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You'll Do

  • Managing the day-to-day warehouse operation
  • Leading and supporting a team to deliver operational, safety, quality, and productivity targets
  • Tracking performance data, identifying trends, and implementing actions to improve results
  • Conducting shift handovers, performance reviews, team briefings, and coaching conversations
  • Collaborating with other functions to resolve operational issues and maintain service levels

This Role Would Suit People Who

  • Have previous experience in a supervisory, team leader, or operational management role
  • Are comfortable using data and KPIs to monitor performance and drive improvements
  • Have experience managing people, including performance, attendance, engagement, and development
  • Can prioritise effectively and make decisions in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
