First Line Engineer | Somerset | £28,000 - £31,000
We’re currently looking for a Junior Support Engineer to join a busy and fast-paced IT support environment in Shepton Mallet.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone with first-line support experience or a passion for IT. Ideal for candidates who enjoy troubleshooting, working under pressure, and delivering exceptional service to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first-line support for software and hardware
- Logging, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and service requests
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining devices, including office equipment
- Handling software updates, patches, and new tech rollouts
- Supporting systems such as Windows 11

Requirements
✔ Experience in 1st-line/IT support/Customer Service ✔ Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ✔ Strong communication and customer service skills ✔ Organised, proactive, and detail-focused approach ✔ Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment
