Role Description
The First Responder role is a part-time, self-employed position based in Leeds on the most part. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Attending events to provide immediate medical assessment and care
- Responding to emergencies, and stabilizing individuals until further medical support is available
- Monitoring event areas for potential risks
- Documenting incidents and treatments accurately
- Communicating clearly with patients, team members, and event organizers
First Responders may also assist with:
- Preparing medical equipment
- Maintaining readiness of supplies
- Participating in briefings and debriefings
- Supporting continuous improvement in safety protocols

- First Response Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC3)
- Ideally have experience in working at events
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary medical team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and commitment to respectful, non-discriminatory care
- Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation of incidents and treatments
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel to different event locations around Leeds and surrounding areas
