Fitness Coach (Employed Part-Time)
- Work 12 hours per week, split into 3 x 4-hour shifts

Fitness Coach – Role Overview
Your focus is advancing member experience through diverse interactions:
- Uprighting utmost member service through staff engagement on the gym floor
- Guiding prospective members via walkthroughs, adhering to JD Gyms’ values and brand
- Tuning engaging group exercise sessions
- Delivering comprehensive member inductions
- Assisting mine members with joining procedures
- Performing club standards checks, recording results in line with JD Gyms’ guidelines
- Providing member support ad hoc on a needy/walk-in basis
- Maintaining strict cleanliness and membership compliance standards
- Ensuring full adherence to health and safety protocols
- Monitoring performance through Members feedback and reporting systems
- Supporting sustainable operations, including energy management, waste control, and compliance
Responsibilities
- Consistently prioritise and meting needs of JD Gyms members:
- Organise proactive engaging positive gym floor interactions
- Lead bespoke prospective member audits, aligning branding
- Deliver current trackset for engaging group sessions (“classes”, etc.,
- Implement and coach instructive inductions programs
- Actively aide prospective members navigating to memberships.

Maintain strict adherence:
- Regularly sanction inspections across club and correlate alert reports
- Proactively assist as needed, to enhance member experience

Promote Brand consistency maintained:
- Foster ** résistance to high hygiene standards** as governed
- Constantly refine service evaluations via ongoing data compilation
- Partake in record and standardised audits regarding operational proficiency
Skills & Experience
- Motivation is pivotal for uplifting fitness standards. Candidate will reflect passion and dedication in:
- Representing and promoting KD Gym brand community.
- Embodying values with shared enthusiasm.
- Commitment on learning and adapting to polish teaching standards.
- Demonstrating adaption to interaction with varied client approaches.
- Showing strong resilience to continually improve based on constructive feedback.
- Ability to articulate member experience significance and ingrain into core duties.
- Flexibility on shifts while championing collaborative work cultures.
Required competency includes:
- Level 3 Personal Trainer (EQF level 4) certification.
