Fitness Coach

Role Opportunity
We are combining two fantastic roles into one unique hybrid position: a 12-hour/part-time employed Fitness Coach (12 hours per week, 3 x 4-hour shifts) and a self-employed Personal Trainer.
Hourly Structure and Compensation

Fitness Coach (emloyed part-time: 12 hours per week)
- 3 x 4-hour shifts, monthly salary

Personal Trainer (self-employed, hours flexible)
- Pay a monthly rent, using JD Gyms as a base to build a thriving PT business

Role Overview
Your mission: Elevate the member experience—structure every visit so our gym visitors feel inspired, motivated, and supported.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Elevating Member Engagement
- Constantly connect and improve interactions with members
- Deliver welcoming member tours that embody our brand voice & vision

Teaching World-Class Group Exercise Classes
- Craft engaging, informative, and motivational lessons

Guiding New Members
- Conduct thorough inductions, ensuring members start safely & confidently
- Support prospective members through the joining process

Maintaining High Standards
- Conduct club standards checks, recording compliance accurately
- Ad-hoc member support as required in line with safety protocols

Gym Floor Standards
- Cleanliness, organisation and member interaction must align with JD Gyms’ brand promise
- Ensure safety compliance with health & safety action points
- Monitor member feedback & service delivery performance

Required Skills & Experience

- Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer certification
