Role Overview

As a member-facing member of our operational team, your role is pivotal in ensuring every visit to JD Gyms is nothing short of world-class. You will:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Engage proactively with gym members to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Lead immersive member inductions.
  • Deliver dynamic, engaging group exercise classes that bring energy and enjoyment.

Responsibilities

  • Member Engagement: Constantly interact with members, ensuring every interaction elevates their experience.
  • Prospective Member Tours: Deliver engaging, brand-aligned tour experiences to potential new members.
  • Group Exercise Classes: Engage, inspire, and lead lively group exercise classes for members.
  • Member Inductions: Conduct engaging and informative new member inductions.
  • Prospective Member Support: Assist members through signing up and account set-up as needed.
  • Standards Compliance: Perform and document comprehensive club audits to maintain exceptional club standards.
  • Member Assistance: Provide timely, spontaneous support based on observed member needs.
  • Club Maintenance: Uphold the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards across the gym floor.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to JD Gyms’ brand values and legal operational requirements.
  • Safety & Legal Compliance: Operate in full compliance with all health, safety, and legal obligations.
  • Sustainability: Be acutely aware of energy and environmental issues, actively participating in sustainable waste management practices.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Identify, analyse, and present key performance insights to drive meaningful initiatives.

  • Passion for Fitness & Wellbeing: A genuine enthusiasm for health, fitness, and supporting people on their personal journey.
  • Brand Representation: Align actions with JD Gyms’ values and unwavering commitment to high standards.
  • Team-Oriented: Energetic, eager to learn, and proud to work collaboratively with peers towards shared goals.
  • Personable & Adaptable: Ability to engage comfortably across diverse personalities and situations.
  • Resilience & Growth Mindset: Welcoming and actionable feedback to continually improve performance.
  • Experience Priority: Highly valued if Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer certified, but openness to training is also a consideration.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt work hours to support club needs.
  • Champion Spirit: A natural desire to form close connections with both members and local communities.
