Role Overview: Group Fitness Instructor & Member Engagement Lead
Your mission? To be the face of JD Gyms—delivering unrivalled member experience on every visit. This means:
- Setting industry-leading cleanliness and engagement standards on the gym floor
- Trainer-led inductions that welcome and empower new members
- Teaching engaging, high-energy group exercise classes (sessions like HIIT, Pilates, cycling, etc.)
- Conducting prospective member tours that reflect JD Gyms’ brand and thriving culture
Responsibilities: Elevating Member Experiences Every Day
Core Member Engagement
- Engage endlessly with members to equip them with the confidence, support, and facilities they need to become TDGN.com members for life.
- Deliver welcoming, polished prospective member tours in line with JD Gyms’ brand standards.
- Perform detailed club standards compliance checks—adhering to our health, safety, and record-keeping procedures while identifying opportunities to further raise the bar.

Full-Floor Focus & Operations
- Oversee daily cleanliness and safety compliance across all club assets, ensuring we match the discretion and professionalism expected within the JD Gyms epic circles.
- Provide ad-hoc support to either members or staff as needed, ensuring consistent standards and seamless operations.
- Monitor and respond to performance and feedback data—applying insights to continually refine the member experience.
Class Delivery & Instruction
- Teach high-impact group exercise classes with passion, creativity, and expert precision.
- Lead member inductions—ensuring trainers’ voices, resumes and experience reach a wider audience via JD Gyms for these.
Proactive Improvement & Leadership
- Utilise data and feedback to propose new approaches and developments that enhance our brand and service.
- Champion sustainability—acknowledging JD Gyms’ commitment to compliance and guideline management.
- Consistently demonstrate JD Gyms group patterns highly—showcasing a personal example for our members to aspire to.
