Fitness Coach - Part Time

### Role Overview

As a Member Experience Lead (or equivalent role depending on location), you’ll ensure every visit to JD Gyms leaves members impressed by delivering world-class experiences. This includes:

  • Upholding highest standards of cleanliness
  • Engaging with members on the gym floor
  • Leading gym inductions
  • Teaching engaging group exercise classes

### Responsibilities

  • Place member experience first—constantly engage with members on the gym floor.
  • Deliver welcoming tours and introductions to prospective members, aligning with JD Gyms branding standards.
  • Teach engaging group exercise classes.
  • Conduct informative member inductions to improve engagement and safety.
  • Support prospective members throughout the joining process if needed.
  • Conduct club standards checks—ensure results are recorded accurately and follow JD Gyms’ record-keeping procedures.
  • Provide ad hoc member support, both as needed or observed.
  • Maintain the highest cleanliness standards, as directed by management and operations teams.
  • Ensure all brand standards and health and safety compliance are met at all times.
  • Monitor service delivery through performance and member feedback.
  • Safely operate and remain compliant with all legal and health and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate weed management and environmental responsibility.
  • Present key data analysis to support new initiatives or developments.

### Skills & Experience

  • Passionate about fitness, health, and wellbeing, with a drive to help others.
  • Embody the values and standards of JD Gyms in everyday work.
  • Enthusiastic, open to learning, and adaptable to different personalities.
  • Comfortable receiving constructive criticism and growing from feedback.
  • Strong communications skills to articulate why a great member experience matters.
  • Ready to work flexible shifts as required.
  • A team player who works hard for teammates, members, and the surrounding communities.
  • Preferred or Mandatory:
    • Level 3 (EQF Level 4) Personal Trainer qualification.
