Job Title: Fitter Location: CK International, Dungannon Reports To: Production Manager
Job Description: CK International is seeking a skilled and reliable Fitter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing balers and compactors to the highest quality standards. This hands-on role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assemble and fit components for recycling and waste equipment Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic installations Ensure all builds meet quality and safety standards Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues Maintain a clean and organised work area Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices Key Requirements: Previous experience in a mechanical fitting or assembly role Ability to read technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude Good communication and teamwork skills Health and safety awareness
