This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking, highly motivated & team-orientated individual to progress within the Company as a Fitter Machinist/Toolroom Engineer. This role would be suited to anyone with a Fitter/Machinist background who has an eye for detail and working with tight tolerances.
In this role, you will be working as a member of the toolroom team reporting to the Team Leader on their shift.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintenance and repair of multi-cavity injection moulds.
- Refurbishment and modification to existing mould tools.
- Measuring / testing equipment and injection mould tools prior to handover.
- Assisting production / development areas as required.
To be considered for the role, you will also need to be able to demonstrate that you:
- Are a confident and clear communicator
- Have a strong team ethos
- Are well organized and can take a methodical approach
- Have a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
- Have a good work ethic and attendance record
- Have experience of working in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have general machining skills (turning, milling and grinding) fitting and a basic practical knowledge of hydraulics, electrics.
- Have a NVQ 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification and completed a time-served apprenticeship within a similar environment.

- 2 shift pattern, 07:00 – 15:00 & 15:00 – 23:00 hours, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, with the option for additional contracted Saturday mornings.
- Rotational shift of 12:15 hour on a rotational pattern of 4 Days on, followed by 4 days off, 4 Nights on and 4 days off.
