Fitter Tester
Due to some exciting projects, KONE has a position available as Fitter Tester. This role will be supporting our South Wales team.
About the Role
We are looking for a Fitter/Tester who has a strong passion for the lifts industry, is NVQ4 Qualified or close to finishing.
As a Fitter/Tester, you will be carrying out installations with the aim to be testing lifts also, you will report the condition of the lift to the Construction Manager who is responsible for all the site activities. When testing you will give snagging items list to the Fitter and inform supervisor. You will be taking part in meetings and work groups related to quality and technical issues and will be responsible for the lift well security (safe for other trades and public etc) and safety of all persons involved in the installation activities during commissioning and testing of the lift (or escalator).

- NVQ3 & NVQ4 in Testing or close to finishing this
- Experience of working with Lifts
- Driving license
- Strong customer skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role
