Fitter Warehouse (M/W)

With over 50 years of experience, Axima delivers end-to-end solutions, from engineering to maintenance, for nuclear facilities, covering new builds, modifications, and decommissioning preparation.


Role: Fitter Warehouse (M/W)

Location: Bridgwater, UK


Key Responsibilities

  • Prefabricate HVAC ductwork assemblies (grids, accessories) following engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Organise and prepare ductwork, components, and assemblies for dispatch to the Hinkley Point C construction site.
    • Ensure quantities and specifications align with project requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks on prefabricated components to ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of:
    • Prefabrication progress
    • Inventory
    • Dispatch schedules
  • Maintain an organised and safe warehouse workspace, adhering to all health, safety, and security protocols, including nuclear site-specific regulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse workflows and prefabrication processes.

Profile Requirements

Ideally, you hold:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within an industrial or nuclear environment.
  • Hands-on experience in HVAC systems, comfortable in production or prefabrication environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions accurately.
  • A strong commitment to strict nuclear safety and quality standards.
  • A rigorous, attention-to-detail mentality, capable of working in structured, highly regulated environments.
