Fixed Assets Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)
Join TUI Global Business Services Finance as a Fixed Assets Assistant on a fixed-term contract, where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate accounting and control of UK&I intercompany entities.

ABOUT THE JOB
You'll accurately maintain and administer the WBS project management system, issuing and maintaining WBS project codes for all capital expenditure.
- We'll rely on you to accurately record capital expenditure on our fixed asset ledger system, ensuring appropriate granularity and that FA balances are correctly posted into the general ledger.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and capital reporting will be part of your remit, including WBS project tracking.
- You'll work closely with business units to ensure correct coding of expenditure, particularly retail property expenditure, and verify that sufficient supporting information is provided for capitalisation.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end data for both management and statutory reporting will keep you engaged.
- During month-end close, you'll support the Intercompany team with reconciliations.

- You have strong academics to A-level standard and are either studying or preparing to study for a recognised accounting qualification.
- As a self-starter, you're able to work using your own initiative with strong systems and process skills.
- Your well-developed problem-solving abilities help you navigate challenges effectively.
- You're personable with strong communication skills, both written and oral.
