About the Team

CreditSights is searching for a Fixed income Data Product Owner who will play a crucial role in the development and success of our product offerings. This role involves working closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product management principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with data for exceptional user experience.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Product Development: Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, other product teams, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it is up-to-date and reflects the current business priorities.
  • User Stories: Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria to ensure stories are ready for development.
  • Agile Ceremonies: Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Feature Validation: Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet the definition of done and acceptance criteria.
  • Customer Interaction: Discuss features with internal and external customers, focusing on usability, time to value, feature completeness, and the overall user journey.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Write and run queries using SQL and other tools to analyze data, validate use cases and product requirements with end users.
  • Issue Resolution: Handle issues with current features and provide solutions based on customer feedback.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze product performance metrics e.g. team productivity, product adoption, feature performance. This role would focus on collection, analysis, and reporting as well as implementing improvements at the squad level.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role.
  • Experience with Fixed Income data and products in financial information services industry, familiarity with data models, databases and data analysis, and experience working with remote teams.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), and data query/analysis systems like SQL.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-Centric: Passion for understanding and addressing customer needs.
