Fixed Income Investment Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid)
Miryco are partnering with a well-established international insurance and investment business that is looking to appoint a Fixed Income Investment Analyst to join its collaborative investment team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2-4 years' experience in an investment or finance environment who is looking to build a long-term career within insurance investing.
Working as part of a close-knit team of approximately ten investment professionals, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of investment activities, working directly alongside senior stakeholders across the business.
The Opportunity
This is a broad, generalist investment role offering excellent development potential. You'll support the Chief Investment Officer and wider investment team across investment analysis, reporting, operational oversight, and investment governance, while working closely with finance, treasury, legal, and risk teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly investment performance reporting, P&L analysis, and budgeting activities.
- Provide analytical and operational support to the investment team across a diverse range of investment projects.
- Produce high-quality investment reports and presentations for internal committees, senior management, and Board meetings.
- Maintain and develop investment reporting and monitoring dashboards using systems such as Aladdin, Clearwater, and Bloomberg.
- Monitor collateral positions and assist with ongoing regulatory and investment governance requirements.
- Support the onboarding of external investment managers, including investment management agreements, due diligence, and documentation.
- Assist with monitoring external manager performance and preparing materials for quarterly review meetings.

About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- At least two years' experience within an investment, asset management, or finance function.
- A genuine interest in developing a career within institutional or insurance investing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of financial markets and investment principles.
- Exposure to investment systems such as Bloomberg, Clearwater, or Aladdin would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
- An interest in using AI and emerging technologies to improve research, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of insurance investment or regulatory environments would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Progress towards, or an intention to study for, the CFA qualification or another relevant professional certification.
