Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with our Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist, and staff to ensure residents receive:
- High-quality, fresh, and home-cooked meals daily
- Personalised attention to residents and families for their dietary needs
Daily Duties Include:
- Preparing, cooking, and serving meals promptly for residents and others
- Ensuring a varied diet with cultural awareness and preferences
- Managing celebrations and special events
- Ordering supplies within the catering budget and policy guidelines (using approved suppliers)
- Maintaining accurate catering records in line with HACCP standards
- Supporting inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and local authorities
- Ensuring high hygiene standards within the kitchen (adhering to HACCP & COSHH guidelines)
- Helping maintain a safe and healthy working environment through Health & Safety & Welfare compliance
- Managing the Catering Team when required
