Position Overview
Job Purpose: As Flagship Store Manager, you embody the spirit of Canada Goose—expertise meets warmth. You’ll:
- Lead with strategic vision, aligning initiatives to achieve financial and operational excellence.
- Empower your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, diversity, and fearless problem-solving.
- Drive guest engagement through personalised service, ensuring every interaction aligns with our luxury lifestyle ethos.
- Optimise all aspects of store performance, from sales targets and cost management to operational standards and loss prevention.
- Advocate for the brand, building lasting client relationships and representing Canada Goose with authenticity and professionalism.
You’re the treatment’s primary steward—balancing business kneesore results with the real, authentic warmth that sets us apart.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
- Financial & Business Growth:
- Achieve 100% of performance targets, including top- and bottom-line performance, while exceeding KPIs like Sales Density (sales per sqft/m²) and LFL Growth.
- Analyze weekly/monthly KPI performance, identifying trends to refine future strategies.

Guest Experience Excellence:
- Deliver and model superior Canadian Warmth through every guest interaction, ensuring consistency in the entire customer journey.
- Track and measure guest service KPIs to continuously improve experiences.
- Respond proactively to guest needs, identifying and resolving issues through data-driven solutions.

- Develop a high-performing team through ongoing coaching, structured training, and performance management.
- Champion diversity and inclusion, ensuring every employee feels empowered.
- Lead mentorship & succession planning, grooming Assistant Store Managers for growth.

Operational Efficiency:
- Maintain rigorous Cost Control, managing supplies, packaging, and labour budgets to maximise profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, supporting optimal stock levels while minimising waste (e.g., shrink).
- Provide scheduling, health & safety compliance, and loss prevention training.

Strategic Brand Representation:
- Strengthen the local community presence through relationships, events, and partnerships, fostering loyalty.
- Ensure merchandising aligns with elevate the luxury lifestyle appeal of Canada Goose.
- Enhance dress code standards and brand consistency across uniform policies.
Cluster Ownership
You lead store success across four critical pillars:
- Customer Journey: Exceptional, empathetic service that drives satisfaction & repeat engagement.
- Talent Development & Engagement: Nurturing growth, recognising/rewarding contributions.
- Financial Performance: Profit-centric decision-making & island internal financial discipline.
- Operational Excellence: Seamless workflows, adhering to (or exceeding) brand compliance standards.
Requirements
Essential:
✍️ 5+ years in leadership, preferably in retail or luxury lifestyle brands. 🏷️ Prior Flagship/High Volume Retail experience with strong financial acumen (e.g., P&L, margins, shrink management). 🌍 Clear understanding of wholesale inventory, labour efficiencies & vendor relations. 🎯 Analytical & Strategic Thinker: Use analytics to drive profitability and team performance. 🗣️ Communication & Coaching Skills: Ability to lead selling behaviors, presentations & accessibility at every level. 💼 Retail Mindset: Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to lead store operations with an unbiased eye.
