The Role: London Flagship Store Manager

The Flagship Store Manager leads, drives performance, and ensures operational excellence in POP MART’s largest and most prominent retail location—a multi-level space that serves as the brand’s flagship ambassadorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Development: Manage a team of 60+ employees, fostering engagement, motivation, and high performance.
  • Culture & Customer Experience: Cultivate a dynamic, customer-centric culture reflecting brand values, enhancing in-store immersion.
  • Sales & Performance: Drive sales growth while achieving ambitious targets and maintaining exceptional operational standards and KPIs.
  • End-to-End Operations: Oversee scheduling, workforce planning, inventory management, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
  • Recruitment & Development: Lead onboarding, coaching, and professional development to build a skilled, loyal workforce.
  • Event & Activation Leadership: Ensure flawless execution of seasonal launches, brand activations, and flagship promotions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align store goals with broader business objectives by working with key departments.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to health & safety, loss prevention, and operational procedures.

Requirements

A proven track record of managing and developing large retail teams (60+) in high-traffic, high-volume environments is critical. Essential qualifications include:

  • At least 5+ years of retail leadership experience
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Results-driven with a focus on commercial excellence and operational efficiency
  • Extensive experience in:
    • Scheduling
    • Performance management
    • Recruitment
    • Large-team coordination
    • Reporting
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and pressure-resistant—capable of thriving in a fast-paced flagship environment
  • Genuine passion for pop culture, collectibles, and delivering memorable customer experiences

Desired (But Not Essential)

  • Familiarity with CEGID systems
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or European languages
