We've grown rapidly and have ambitious plans for the future. Joining HBNL means becoming part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that's committed to making a genuine difference for customers and communities alike.

About the Role

We're looking for an organised and proactive Fleet & Asset Manager to take ownership of our growing fleet, tools, plant and operational equipment. Reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, you'll play a key role in ensuring our vehicles and assets remain safe, compliant, cost-effective and fully operational, helping our teams deliver an excellent service to customers across the country. Working closely with colleagues across Service Delivery, Operations, HSEQ, Finance and Procurement, you'll drive improvements in fleet performance, asset utilisation and compliance, whilst supporting the continued growth of the business.

We're open to applications from candidates based in the Inverness or Edinburgh areas. Given the nature of the role, travel to other company locations across Scotland will form a regular part of the position.

What you'll do

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
