Furdeco is a nationwide two-person delivery company specialising in furniture and garden items. Our delivery service runs across 7 days a week to suit customer’s needs.
With over 10 years’ experience, we have built up a good reputation in our space delivering home furniture, appliances and related products within the UK, working with a number of household brands including Debenhams, Harveys, Furniture Village and DFS to name a few!
We are looking for a lively and friendly person to take up a position for the responsibility of vehicle care and maintenance.

You Will Be
- Supporting the Maintenance Manager with vehicle checks.
- Fleet maintenance.
- Shunting/shuttling.
- Drop off and collection of vehicles from authorized service providers.
- Responsible for PPE, replacement of tyres/lubricant/consumables for fleet.
- Replace broken or faulty parts as and when needed.
- Data inputting of inspection sheets/reports for management on Excel.
- Reporting and planning of defect rectification.
- Rectifying and testing repairs to ensure vehicle is roadworthy.
- Assist in fleet management in yard and prep for sale.
- Requesting quotes and booking in repairs once management has agreed.
- Research and book services when required from external providers.

Essential Skills
- Experience in vehicle maintenance.
- Must hold a clean driving license.
- You must be organised and can work on your own initiative as well as within the team.
- Must have excellent people skills as you will be working with a large workforce.
- Experience in a similar role is essential.
- Experience of driving large vehicles of 3.5 tonne is preferred.
- A good understanding of vehicular mechanics and defect rectification is necessary.
