Due to continued growth and increased demand, we’re looking for a Fleet Management Engineer to join our Operations team. So, if you’re a technically minded engineer with a passion for monitoring connected devices, solving complex technical issues, and delivering excellent customer outcomes, we would be delighted to hear from you!

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to monitor the health, connectivity, and operational performance of deployed devices and field assets across our installed customer base. You will play a key role in maintaining service reliability, identifying trends, and supporting the ongoing management of EA Technology's fleet of connected devices.

  • Monitor the health, connectivity, and operational status of deployed devices and field assets
  • Investigate fleet issues, including offline devices, telemetry gaps, configuration drift, and abnormal device behavior
  • Maintain accurate device records, asset information, and fleet dashboards to support service performance and customer visibility
  • Support firmware, configuration, and deployment campaigns across managed device fleets
  • Work closely with Support and Field Service teams to determine whether issues relate to devices, networks, configurations, or platforms
  • Identify recurring failure patterns and provide actionable insight to Hardware Operations, Platform Operations, and Engineering teams
  • Coordinate with logistics and field teams to manage device replacements, swap-outs, and remediation activities
  • Validate fleet readiness ahead of major deployments, customer go-lives, and service transitions
  • Document troubleshooting procedures, standard operating checks, and recurring issues to improve response times and consistency
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of fleet monitoring, reporting, alerting, and device lifecycle processes

What we'll need from you:

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Experience working within support or service environments, including incident management and SLA-driven operations
  • Experience working with operational processes, technical documentation, and evidence-based quality control
  • Comfortable using monitoring tools and data to diagnose technical issues and monitor system performance
  • Understanding of safe working practices and risk management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and customer-facing teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive approach to identifying trends and driving continuous improvement

Desirable:

  • Experience working with support models such as L1/L2/L3
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in networking, cloud technologies, electrical engineering, or related disciplines
  • Experience using ticketing systems, monitoring platforms, CRM systems, or data analysis tools
  • Experience working with IoT, telemetry, connected devices, or managed technology services
