Fleet Process Excellence Insights Manager

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience we constantly aim to elevate is how we fulfil and deliver orders—quickly, accurately, anywhere in the world. To meet this ambition, Amazon is pioneering new solutions in last-mile delivery, including in the branded fleet operations space. Join a team dedicated to driving innovation, collaboration, and measurable results.

The Fleet Process Excellence (FPE) team, part of EU Fleet Operations, focuses on delivering measurable cost optimisation across our European delivery fleet. Based across multiple EU countries, we work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Last Mile teams) and external partners, including Delivery Service Providers (DSPs), Fleet Management Companies (FMCs), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

About the Role

We are looking to appoint a Fleet Process Excellence Insights Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our fleet cost insights pipeline. This isn’t a reactive support role—you’ll proactively identify cost optimisation opportunities, build robust data-driven foundations, and translate complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations that drive decisions at the Director and Regional levels.

As the technical backbone of the FPE team, you’ll be our go-to expert in coding, automation, data solutions, and business intelligence (BI). You’ll directly tackle large, novel datasets (e.g., cost-per-package (CPP), vehicle off-road rates (VORR), and operational cost drivers) to uncover game-changing savings opportunities—without waiting for direction.

Success in this role requires independence, strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences, and a knack for working in ambiguity while delivering #Results with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end fleet cost insights pipeline: Design, build, maintain, and automate data pipelines and reporting systems that provide a single source of truth on fleet cost performance, including:
    • Cost-per-package (CPP)
    • Vehicle off-road rates (VORR)
    • Cost-by-station
    • Cost-by-Delivery Service Provider (DSP)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
