We’re looking for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers excellence in service, and is committed to driving sustainability through our operations.
What You Will Do
Here’s how your role will evolve and grow:
- Manage all inbound customer service calls, ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prioritise workflows to maximise efficiency, meeting productivity and quality targets
- Deliver exceptional customer service by:
- Achieving on-time delivery
- Maintaining product excellence
- Ensuring compliance with customer requirements
- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal teams to promote co-operation and workload optimisation
- Monitor and meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and customer KPIs for all requests
- Provide real-time support to the management team as needed
- Process warranty-related items efficiently, ensuring suppliers receive correct documentation within set timelines
- Make cost-conscious yet timely decisions on:
- Repair turnaround times for broken-down vehicles
- Placement of replacement vehicles (and spares) while minimising downtime
- Oversee vehicle movements and repairs, coordinating replacements and ensuring adherence to SLAs
- Chase supplier progress to guarantee timeframes are respected (VOR—Vehicle On-road—must stay within KPI targets)
- Update and maintain records on internal systems, reflecting:
- Job statuses
- Logged call histories (to and from customers)
- Customer communication ensuring updates on repair progress and prompt resolution of queries

What You Will Bring
We’re looking for a driven professional with the following qualities:
- Proven record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills, proven abilities in:
- Verbal and written clarity in fast-paced environments
- (A working knowledge of Kerridge or R2C systems is advantageous)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail, combined with flexibility, motivation, and adaptability
- Professional presentation and a robust work ethic
- A proactive approach to solving both internal operational issues and external customer queries
- Availability to work a shift pattern:
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- Hours: 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Full-time, permanent role based in:
- Thermo King Bolton office
- Address: BL6 4SA
