Fleet Service Advisor – On-Site Role (5 Days)

Where is the work? On-site (5 days), Bolton office: BL6 4SA

Role Summary

Joining Thermo King UK in the Bolton office, the Fleet Service Advisor will provide exceptional customer service while working closely under the guidance of the Call Centre Manager and Fleet Service Supervisors. Your role will include key responsibilities surrounding efficiency, customer satisfaction, and maintaining strict KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).


Responsibilities

Customer Service & Communication

  • Answer all inbound calls to the Customer Service Centre within defined KPIs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring on-time delivery, product excellence, and adherence to customer requirements.
  • Keep customers informed of repair status and address any queries in a timely manner.

Operational Efficiency

  • Prioritise workflows to enhance time efficiency, meeting productivity and quality targets.
  • Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met when dealing with all service requests.
  • Manage the movement of broken-down vehicles and replacement vehicles (spares) within KPIs and SLA time frames.
  • Chase suppliers for timely completion of jobs, ensuring Vehicle On-Road (VOR) performance stays within KPIs.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams to optimise work allocation and foster cooperation.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Make accurate frontline decisions regarding vehicle placement, ensuring cost control.
  • Ensure all warranty items are issued to correct suppliers within reasonable timelines.
  • Update system records to reflect job statuses and log all customer calls in and out.

Administrative Support

  • Support the management team with any required tasks to meet the demands of the Service Centre.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer literacy, with a preferable working knowledge of systems like Kerridge or R2C.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and motivation.
  • Professional presentation and strong work ethic.
  • Proactive mindset—solving internal and external customer queries.
  • Availability for a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM).
