Flex Force Care Assistant
Care Assistant – Flex Force (Wigan Area)
At HC-One, we are seeking enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team.
About the Role

- Westleigh Lodge (WN7 5JT)
- Westwood Lodge (WN3 5DJ)
Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday, covering days, nights, and weekends. As a Flex Force Care Assistant, you'll travel between our care homes, an essential aspect of the role. This flexibility allows you to adapt to each home’s needs while maintaining control over your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Flexible Care Assistant at HC-One, you’ll prioritise kindness in every interaction across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Our residents are individuals with unique stories and identities, and you’ll help ensure they retain their dignity, individuality, and well-being.
Your role will include:
- Daily care support: Assisting residents with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and meal assistance.
- Mobility assistance: Helping residents with limited mobility—to use aids, move safely, or access activities.
- Comprehensive well-being support: Monitoring and caring for residents both on-site and off-site as needed.
- Emotional and end-of-life care: Providing empathy and comfort, whether supporting a resident struggling with distress or offering palliative care.

- Recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect.
- Comply with required safeguarding training.
- Seek advice, report concerns, and escalate as necessary.
