What you’ll do
- Working with customers who have experienced homelessness with a variety of support needs including but not limited to substance misuse, offending, physical and mental health.
- There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from assisting customers with their practical, daily living tasks to working through support plans, helping them to achieve independence.
- One shift you might be working a sleep-in, making sure you’re available for overnight support, the next you might be working the day shift and enjoying fish and chips by the sea with your customer.
- You’ll be helping our vulnerable customers in a variety of services.
- You might find yourself working in accommodation-based services, a registered care home or supporting our customers in a community or home-based setting.

You have
- Enjoyment working with a range of customers.
- Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
- Experience as a Support Worker. It is important that you have worked in this type of environment before.
- A positive, can do and caring attitude, with the desire to learn to continue making a difference to our customers lives.
- Previous experience of working with support plans, recording, and using information concisely and effectively.

The practical bits
- Flexible working hours
- We pay £50 per sleep in shift
- We’re looking for you to work across Central region which include our services in Norwich/Wymondham/Bury St Edmunds
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans / doing mandatory learning / keeping in touch with colleagues.
- To get from A to B, you’ll need a valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
- You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
