Description
We are a team of Chartered Independent Financial Planners and Employee Benefits Consultants, recognised by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Our Chartered status reflects our commitment to putting clients first, maintaining high ethical standards, and investing in continuous professional development.
Within MKS Financial Planning, the Employee Benefits team is a specialist advisory function, providing pensions and employee benefits advice to corporates, charities and private organisations. We support clients across the full employee benefits landscape, including corporate pension schemes, group risk and healthcare benefits, flexible benefits and wellbeing programmes, governance and compliance, employee communications, and financial education.
This role sits within a well-established and respected specialist team, supporting corporate clients — many within the Independent Schools sector. The team advises on pension scheme design and sustainability, governance and regulatory requirements, strategic planning, total reward and wellbeing strategies, and tailored healthcare and group risk solutions. Flexible benefits consultancy is a growing area of focus for MKS Financial Planning.
In this role, you will lead the implementation of a new flexible benefits platform for our corporate clients. Acting as Project Manager, you will oversee the design, delivery and ongoing development of the platform.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, driving innovation, improving cost efficiency, and enhancing employee value, while ensuring strong governance and compliance. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on programme delivery and external provider management. Your delivery of a consistently high-quality, professional service to clients, colleagues and third parties will be key to success, and we are looking for someone who can exceed both internal and external expectations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
